Below you’ll find a table that will compare Kobo e-readers to help you gain a better understanding of which is right for you. Let’s get started on this Kobo e-reader review. They have focused on the most serious allegations, leveled by former Cuomo aides Lindsey Boylan and Brittany Commisso. Glavin and Cuomo's former top aides, armed with many of those documents, have waged an aggressive public relations campaign in recent weeks questioning James' investigation. (An Albany City Court judge earlier this month granted motions filed by prosecutors and Glavin to dismiss the case, which Albany County District Attorney David Soares said could not be proven "beyond a reasonable doubt.")īut other records that were not publicly released by the attorney general's office - and information that was redacted from many of the transcripts - reveal that the attorney general's investigators apparently did not follow up on leads that may have called into question some of the sworn testimony that formed the basis of their conclusion that Cuomo had sexually harassed multiple women. They were made public after Glavin had already received many of those records through pre-trial discovery in the now-closed criminal case in which Cuomo was accused of groping a female aide at the executive mansion in December 2020. Last week, James's office released what is said is the final series of depositions and exhibits from the investigation. "Thousands of pages of transcripts, exhibits, videos, and other evidence have already been publicly released, but these lies continue in an effort to mask the truth: Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women." "Another day, another attempt by the former governor to attack the brave women who called out his abuse," state Attorney General Letitia James' office said in a statement issued after Glavin attacked the credibility of the investigation two weeks ago. An investigation by the state Assembly's Judiciary Committee also concluded that many of the allegations were valid and that the governor had engaged in sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior. But under New York's statutes, three of the district attorneys said, the allegations could not be successfully prosecuted as crimes. The attorney general's office and multiple district attorneys who investigated many of the women's allegations found their accounts credible. Still, the documents - in addition to the public statements of women who have accused Cuomo of misconduct - also confirm that at times the governor's admitted behavior, including kissing, touching and hugging his aides and a female trooper on his protective detail, arguably violated the state's regulations governing workplace conduct. įSX repaint textures for the payware Carenado Cessna 152II. Although streamed orthographic scenery seems unlikely, a much higher resolution digital mesh, better scenery textures, and a procedural system that prevents the repetitive and tiled scenery textures might go a long way towards letting X-Plane 12 catch up to MSFS in the scenery department even if it isn’t using satellite imagery. The mowed grass and cracked runway edges being applied procedurally does give us a potential look at how X-Plane 12’s scenery system may ultimately be applied. High resolution textures are nice but nearly every other flight sim is applying different shaders and other tricks to really make those details come alive and so X-Plane will need to do that too to really keep up with the visuals. The lynch-pin in all of this will be just how good X-Plane 12’s lighting model is and how well it interacts with these details. Ignoring what’s going on in the background, the airports themselves do come off well with much nicer details than we’ve seen from prior versions of X-Plane. Have a look at some of these airports including Aspen… So don’t judge the roads, background textures, or water transitions just yet. Not updated in these images is the scenery itself which is, according to the thread releasing these images, still using the X-Plane 11 scenery package. Also applied procedurally is the mowed grass texture which does look convincing and can apparently be generated or hand painted in the gateway. There are also cracks applied to the edges of the tarmac procedurally. Part of the upgrade also includes much higher resolution taxiways, runways and other tarmac elements as well as new and upgraded buildings, objects, vehicles, etc. The airports don’t have the custom scenery quality that you might get from some paid addons but it is still a huge advance forward. The gateway is a repository of airport scenery, often supplied by the community, using a package of scenery objects which have been updated significantly for X-Plane 12. Next up? Airport upgrades! X-Plane 12 looks to be trying to answer the scenery question with some very good autogen and prebuilt airport details that can be applied to the airports in their scenery gateway. It is a Piper Super Cub with the enlarged back country tires which is a very nice addition to see as bush plane flying has really become popular with flight simmers in recent times. Next up, Laminar were teasing us earlier today with another aircraft showing us just the wingtip before revealing the full aircraft. The rest of the aircraft model and textures have also clearly been given a significant update. Of particular note, Laminar wanted us to focus on the reflections on the windscreen which is indeed impressive. This aircraft is currently available in X-Plane 11 and Laminar are clearly updating its looks for X-Plane 12. The first one that we’ve seen in the last week is a refurbished version of Laminar Research’s Beechcraft King Air C90B. We also get a look at some of the airport details from the X-Plane Scenery Gateway. The latest images showcase two of the default aircraft shipping with the sim and the detail levels that have been reached on them. New information and images are coming at us from Laminar Research and the team working on X-Plane 12. The rest of this study will help you see how to actually go about doing that, but today, rest in the fact that God has given you a specific purpose and praise Him for calling you to participate in such an important task. When we combine these two verses, we can see that our primary purpose is to glorify God in all that we do, through our relationships and our daily activities. Along with the command to fill and subdue the earth, Isaiah tells his readers that God first created people to glorify Him. The scriptures for today give us an overview of God’s purpose for all of humanity. By looking closely at God’s Word, you will see how much meaning and purpose your life really has. This study will help you see how God can use you right where you are today. Cultures are made up of artists and business people, teachers and public servants, and God has great purpose for every person involved in any society in all of history, including you. Farming, starting businesses, working at a grocery store, parenting, and many other vocations all have to do with subduing the earth. While the first half involves populating the earth, the second has to do with building cultures. We can glorify Him in all that we do, and therefore, everything we do can have divine meaning.Īt the very beginning, God gave our earliest ancestors, Adam and Eve, a mission to build societies and cultures, and the command still applies to us today. This book is the perfect companion for military service members, providing Bible verses with Gods words of protection, power and perseverance. 1 Timothy 5:23 - Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomachs sake and thine often infirmities. When God fills us with His Spirit, He brings new meaning to our work, our relationships, our passions, our free time, and even our rest. Genesis 1:11 - And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. Now, that may not sound like the kind of purpose you were hoping to find, but this study will show you how meaningful this purpose really is. Now, anyone can carry on that purpose today, including you. God does not do things by accident, and when He created the world, He did it thoughtfully. Your life has a specific purpose given to you by God. This means that users can enjoy their favorite TV shows and movies in stunning clarity and detail. With a sleek and modern design, the Fire Stick 4K Max is easy to set up and use. The Fire Stick 4K Max is a compact and portable streaming device that allows users to stream their favorite TV shows and movies in 4K Ultra HD quality. We will also discuss why the Fire Stick 4K Max is an ideal option for those who are looking for a powerful and efficient streaming device. In this article, we will take an in-depth look at the Fire Stick 4K Max and explore its features and specifications. It is an incredibly powerful streaming device that allows users to access a wide range of streaming services, including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, and many more. Developed by Amazon, the Fire Stick 4K Max is the latest addition to Amazon’s streaming device line-up. One such device that has gained immense popularity in recent years is the Fire Stick 4K Max. It's a slow-burn show when it doesn't need to be, and it really shouldn't have been.W ith the rise of streaming services, the demand for streaming devices has increased significantly. The series attempts to show the events through numerous perspectives, but when most of the characters are already underwritten, you'll mostly spend your time wondering when Elba will pop back up onscreen. It's these kinds of elements that could have been trimmed down to bring back at least some sense of suspense. Hijack also spends a large chunk of time with a subplot revolving around Sam's ex-wife Marsha ( Christine Adams) and her boyfriend Daniel ( Max Beesley) as they try to break Tom's son out of his shell. The show would benefit from more of a binge-worthy format, but with Apple releasing episodes weekly, it's hard to see audiences caring enough to stick around week-to-week. Imagine if 24 was brought back for another revival, but instead of Jack Bauer thwarting terrorists in exciting globe-trotting adventures, he's confined to an airplane full of mostly obnoxious passengers who you couldn't care less about. Hijack likely would have worked much better as a two-hour movie rather than a miniseries, as the story begins to get tedious in its latter episodes before finally becoming more compelling in its finale. In that sense, it is more similar to a show like the BBC's Bodyguard, starring Richard Madden. Hijack does do a decent enough job of creating a believable tone and treats the premise in a way that is never too exploitative. Rather, creators George Kay and Jim Field Smith hope to bring much of the thrills through dialogue, and after a while, it becomes pretty repetitive, especially for a series that runs for nearly seven hours. There isn't as much hand-to-hand combat and gunplay, mainly because it really wouldn't make sense for its characters. Instead, he's just a regular upper-class man who attempts to use his white-collar business skills of negotiating to deal with terrorists who are trying to ignite a global conflict. The first handful of episodes do show a lot of promise unlike a film like Non-Stop, Elba's Tom Nelson isn't some veteran air marshal who has been thrust into his most daring case yet. Much of Hijack feels familiar, from the simple setup, added familial drama, and twists and turns - even down to the title. openssl rsa -in ~/.ssh/mykey.pem -pubout > ~/.ssh/mykey.pub pub using openssl and then trying to ssh-copy-id it to the server Uncommenting AuthorizedKeysFile %h/.ssh/authorized_keys in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.Setting PubkeyAuthentication yes in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.Setting RSAAuthenication yes in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.Setting PasswordAuthentication yes in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.Here are some of the solutions I've tried: Most SO answers suggest that ssh-copy-id is the solution to the problem, but for me it always ends up being the other way around. If you want to communicate that the requested thing positively does not exist, do not use 404. So strictly by HTTP spec, 404 is inherently unreliable regarding the nonexistence of a requested thing. It only means that the server has no current representation of the requested resource available, and this even may be only temporary. Here is another argument against 404: Strictly from a HTTP spec (RFC7231) point of view, 404 does not even mean that a resource does not exist. In this case too a 404 should be treated as a technical error and not as a valid "resource not found" result.Įdit: Wow, this has caused a lot of controversy. gitlab does such a thing), to conceal the information that the request URI would have been valid but the request lacked authorization to access it. This is further excarbated by some APIs even using 404 instead of 401/403 (e.g. a misconfigured proxy somewhere in the request routing) that should be investigated and fixed. Since it can indicate a connectivity/middleware problem rather than a valid service response, i would not want a fluctuating number of "valid" 404s in my metrics/dashboards that might conceal genuine technical issues (e.g. By returning 404 without response entity despite of a correct technical execution the client may decide to consider cases to be errors that simply are no errors.Īnother perspective: From an operations point of view a 404 may be problematic. I think in most cases it should be left to the client to decide whether an empty result is acceptable or not. 2xx means "technical execution ok, this is the result, deal with it". That way the status of the technical execution of the request is separated from the logical result of the request. Still i would prefer a 204 or 200 with empty response though. Or one could use a HTTP response header for that. a html page instead of XML or JSON that he can parse, then that is a good indicator that something technical went wrong instead of a "no result" reply that may be valid from the caller's point of view. But if that really is relevant, then one may also consider using a 200 OK response and design the system in a way that allows for error responses in the payload data.Īlternatively, one could use the payload of the 404 response to return structured information to the caller. The advantage of 404 over 204 is that it can return a response entity that may contain some information about why the requested resource was not found. a monitoring component or whether to ignore it. This forces the client developer to catch that exception, to evaluate it, and then to decide based on that whether to log it as an error that is picked up by e.g. > For applications that need to know that a requested resource positively does not exist instead of just being temporarily unaccessible, 404 without response entity therefore is pretty much a no-go.Īlso, many client frameworks respond to a 404 by throwing an exception with no further questions asked. Does that mean that no-one is due for a bonus, or that the application is currently down for a new deployment and the 404 is actually coming from the tomcat that it's supposed to be installed into, instead of from the application itself? These two scenarios yield the same status code, but they are fundamentally different in their meaning. Unfortunately, the one time when it is called it returns a 404. This can be fatal: Imagine an accounting service in your company that lists all the employees that are due to an annual bonus. Therefore based on the status code alone the client cannot distinguish between a 404 that means "the thing you were looking for does not exist" and a 404 that means "something is seriously wrong, report this error to the ops team". Sure, the 5xx error class exists for such cases, but in reality the affected middleware components often have no way to know that the error is on their side and then just assume that the error is on the client side, and then respond with a 404 instead of 500/503. the application being temporarily deactivated or uninstalled on the server, proxy connection issues and whatnot. More importantly, 404 can happen for a number of technical reasons. The request was received and properly processed - it did trigger application code on the server, the client might not have made any mistake, and thus the whole class of client error codes (4xx) may not be fitting. Or at least one should use a response entity with the 404. I strongly oppose 404 in favour of 204 or 200 with empty data. 24 ⇓- 26īecause of these recent gains in understanding, our attention is being turned to the carotid plaque itself rather than the lumen alone. 20, -, 23 The disconnect between stenosis severity and stroke risk is an area of active investigation, especially in plaques causing <50% stenosis, which are increasingly being considered as a potential cause of embolic strokes that are otherwise of uncertain etiology. 16 We have learned that the degree of luminal stenosis does not necessarily correlate with the volume of plaque, 17, -, 19 that many plaque features besides luminal stenosis can directly contribute to ischemia, and that these high-risk features can lead to ischemic symptoms regardless of the degree of stenosis. Infarctions secondary to carotid disease are thought to be caused by not only the flow-reduction from stenotic plaque but also artery-to-artery emboli occurring after fibrous cap rupture. 9 ⇓ ⇓ ⇓ ⇓ ⇓- 15 Recently, our understanding of the contributions of plaque features to cerebrovascular ischemia has altered how we evaluate carotid plaque. Traditionally, imaging risk assessment has been based on the degree of arterial narrowing as measured by the NASCET criteria, which have been used as the basis for randomized clinical trials and for many stroke classification schemes. 6, 7 With improvement in medical management for treating patients with carotid artery stenosis, the annual risk of stroke has decreased in asymptomatic patients to ∼1%, 8 which has made the need to appropriately risk-stratify patients even more critical. We will also include practical considerations and comparisons with other imaging modalities.Įxtracranial atherosclerosis is an important contributor to stroke, accounting for 15%–20% of all ischemic strokes. For each plaque feature, we will summarize the existing literature, associating each feature with stroke risk. In this review, we will describe technical considerations when performing CTA and then provide detailed descriptions of individual plaque characteristics that can be evaluated on CTA. While identifying thrombosis and the degree of stenosis on CTA is necessary in selecting patients for intervention, other plaque features evident on CTA are also valuable in determining the risk of stroke or TIA and in aiding management decisions. In addition to providing accurate information regarding the degree of luminal stenosis, CTA examinations can also provide rich detail regarding plaque morphology and features, given their superb spatial resolution. Although CTA does not have the same prospective evidence as MR imaging and ultrasound for predicting future cerebrovascular disease, CTA does provide valuable information regarding plaque characteristics that should not be ignored.ĬTA of the head and neck is a commonly acquired examination to evaluate vessel patency in the setting of cerebrovascular ischemia, especially in the work-up of acute ischemic infarction. 3 ⇓- 5 CTA is often overlooked as a method for providing detailed evaluation of plaque characteristics, and it has certain benefits in terms of accessibility and ease of use in clinical workflow not present with multisequence MR imaging characterization of carotid plaque. 1, 2 In addition to MR imaging, contrast-enhanced sonography is also a powerful tool for evaluating carotid plaque vulnerability. Much of the literature of vessel wall imaging has centered on MR imaging because of its impressive contrast resolution and high sensitivity for identifying high-risk plaque features. Despite decades of using a degree of luminal stenosis as the primary determinant of treatment for patients with carotid artery stenosis, there has been a recent trend toward adopting advanced imaging techniques to provide a more complete plaque evaluation for more accurate risk assessment. Recent advances in vessel wall imaging have spurred a paradigm shift in the evaluation of carotid plaque. Their subjects included scenic views, tourist attractions and works of art, as well as portraits. ‘Cartes de visite’, the size of formal visiting cards, were patented in 1854 and produced in their millions during the 1860s when it became fashionable to collect them. Both were albumen prints made from glass negatives, attached to stiff card backing printed with the photographer’s name. Many people had studio photographs taken, in everyday dress or fancy dress, for ‘cartes de visite’, and later ‘cabinet cards’. Photography was a novel and exciting development in Victorian days.
